Quiet, well-maintained retreat with great hiking trails. Friendly staff and beautiful property. Initial room issue quickly resolved with apology and a sorry basket. Amazing location, need a car to reach town, but lots of wildlife sightings.

Our stay at Postoak Lodge And Retreat was a delightful experience. The beautiful grounds and well-kept surroundings created a peaceful ambiance that was perfect for a relaxing getaway. Despite being their off season, the front desk staff was friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome. The lodge provided a variety of activities such as hiking, swimming, and fishing, which kept us entertained throughout our stay. The pool was a particular highlight, with its clean and inviting atmosphere. The lodge's unique rustic charm reminded me of the summer camp days of my childhood, bringing back cherished memories. Additionally, the breakfast served at the lodge was delicious, although it started a bit late for our preference. The artwork displayed in the hallways was a nice touch, and we enjoyed exploring the trails and observing the deer on the property. Unfortunately, we were unable to go ziplining due to the rain, but we appreciate the addition of such an exciting activity. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The staff was friendly and accommodating, even inviting late arrivals to join the breakfast menu. The breakfast buffet was fabulous, offering a full hot breakfast to start the day.
There was a minor issue with the room's heat control, but overall, everything else was just fine.

Breakfast items could have had more variety. We ended up going to a nearby restaurant to find something to eat.

Clean, well-kept lodges with plenty of activities to enjoy, such as hiking, swimming, fishing. Great location close to the city but still in a rural setting. Reminded me of camp from when I was a kid!
Some lodges have small rooms and shared spaces, which can lead to noise issues and lack of privacy. Inconvenient parking situation and outdated rooms in need of updating.
